What We Did
The Outcome
The Premise
Auto coverage is a trust category. Email is the surface where the trust either lands or doesn't.
Endurance sells vehicle protection plans, the kind of product nobody thinks about until something goes wrong, sold to people who'd rather not think about cars at all. The brand's email program is one of the primary places that conversation happens. Open rate, click rate, deliverability, brand consistency: every email has to clear all of those bars while doing actual creative work.
We worked on the email design suite with Lift Agency. The brief was straightforward in shape and tight in execution: a body of email creative that holds together as a program, conveys credibility without going corporate-sterile, and converts, in a category where most competitors design like the legal department wrote the wireframes.
Part of that credibility came from a brand partner. Endurance backs the program with Danica Patrick, retired professional racecar driver, so the concept work ran on two tracks: endorsement-led emails carrying her voice and authority, and general offer sends doing the everyday conversion work. Same system, two ways to earn the trust the category runs on.

The Email Suite

The work ran on two tracks. One concepted email creative around Endurance’s brand partner, Danica Patrick, retired professional racecar driver, using her authority to carry the protection pitch. The other was the general offer program: percentage-off codes, savings breakdowns, roadside and elite-benefit offers, social proof. Same header/footer system holding it all together. The whole set is above, one email at a time: pick a tab, then scroll inside it.
Eleven sends, two Danica Patrick endorsement concepts, then the general offer program. Pick a tab, then scroll inside the screen to read any email.

What Email Has To Do In This Category
Email design for a finance-adjacent product is a particular discipline. The constraints aren't optional, and the design either solves them or fights them.
What carries the work in a constrained channel: a confident type ramp, brand color used as signal not decoration, photography that humanizes the product without faking it, and a header/footer system that holds across the program so each individual email reads like part of the brand's voice instead of a one-off send.
layout width · the email standard most clients still respect
legal block · required, long, can't shrink, design accommodates
primary action · clear call to act, every send
to land · reads in the Gmail preview pane or it doesn't

Email Is The Hard Channel

Email is the channel with nowhere to hide: no motion, no parallax, no 4K hero. The design either reads in the inbox preview or it doesn't.
Email creative gets dismissed as the workhorse channel, the place design goes when it can't do anything fancier. That dismissal misses what email actually demands: design that holds in 600 pixels of width, against a six-line legal block, on a Gmail preview pane, in three seconds, while still feeling like the brand. It's a tighter creative box than most landing pages will ever have to fit inside.
That's the work this case study is about. Quietly difficult, consistently shipped, doing the kind of conversion the rest of the marketing surface gets credit for.
sends shipped · one email-only program
concept tracks · Danica Patrick endorsement + general offers
design box · consumer auto coverage, trust-led, inbox-tested
designer · Lift Agency · end-to-end on email
Eleven sends shipped into the Endurance email program

The work went out as email, which is the only place it was ever meant to run. Eleven sends shipped through Lift Agency into Endurance's program: two built around Danica Patrick, the rest general offer sends carrying percentage-off codes, savings breakdowns, roadside and elite benefit offers and social proof. All of them run on the same header and footer system, with one clear call to action in every send and the legal block held in the footer.

Solve the constraints, don’t fight them
We started with what the channel demands and built a header and footer system to hold every send together. When the foundation is right, each email reads as part of the brand’s voice.
