What We Did

Therum led web development, creative direction, and marketing design across digital and experiential touchpoints. We designed and built corytownes.com on WordPress, working directly with Cory with no agency in between. The site is deliberately simple: a small number of pages and an audio player that follows the reader down the page. Alongside it we made the artwork for two of his events and a set of cover artwork.

The Outcome

corytownes.com is live and running on WordPress, with the mixes, the featured projects, the dates and the booking address in one place. The Jawnsgiving and A Good Jawn artwork went out with those nights in the formats each one needed, feed and story. The updated system helped streamline Cory’s professional presentation, expanding opportunities for collaboration and sponsorship.

Therum led web development, creative direction, and marketing design across digital and experiential touchpoints. Our goal was to create a flexible system that could grow with Cory’s evolving career, one that served as both a portfolio and promotional platform for his cultural work.

We took a holistic approach, starting with a site architecture that balanced storytelling with usability. The design emphasized clean navigation and rich media presentation, integrating music, event visuals, and editorial features. Alongside digital strategy, we produced event marketing materials and cover artwork that aligned visually with the tone of his web experience, ensuring consistency across physical and digital spaces.

The site opens on his name set large and a single instruction to jump in. Below that sit his featured projects. The player stays docked at the foot of the screen, so the music keeps running while a reader moves through the follow links, the dates and the contact form.

A custom WordPress website build. Marketing design for events and campaigns. Cover artwork and promotional visuals. A brand system and visual consistency framework.

corytownes.com carries a home page with featured projects, an about page and a contact page, with a persistent player, follow links, a dates block and a mailing list. The event artwork covers Jawnsgiving square and vertical, with and without texture, and A Good Jawn in two colourways plus a story crop.
