What We Did
Designing the identity for BENgineers, an internal organization within Comcast, derived from our Black Employee Network ERG.
BENgineers — born from Comcast's Black Employee Network ERG — nurtures collaboration and the sharing of diverse perspectives across the company's technologist community. Working closely with Group Leader Mumin Ransom, Therum set out to create a distinctive identity that fuses technology and engineering.

The redesign helped evolve a small organic group into a thriving organization of 150+ and growing. Therum developed a versatile brand mark with stacked and inline variants plus text, adaptable across media while holding a distinct identity — merging gear-like shapes with electronic elements into a cohesive representation.

BENgineers has grown into an integral part of conferences hosted at Comcast's campus and made a tangible impact across both the Comcast tech community and the broader Black community — producing shirts, crews, and initiatives that foster unity, empowerment, and representation.
