What We Did

A deck for TheLoftSessions: the premise, the format, the demographics, the studio in Downtown Brooklyn, the featured talent, the lineup ahead and the services on offer.

The Outcome

The deck went out as the brand's pitch and marketing document.

01. The Ask

Develop a modern and clean presentation deck for an emerging event company

The 24:Ours loft in Downtown Brooklyn, a white photo studio with lighting stands

24:Ours runs live events and a creative studio in Downtown Brooklyn, and needed one file for TheLoftSessions it could put in front of a partner, a brand or a venue.

24 ours mark

Therum designed the deck. The page order, the format and the way the photography carries every spread were ours. The roster, the dates and the shows themselves are the company's.

03. Our Approach

A clean, modern deck carried by photography from the shows

Guests and artists gathered for a group photo at a loft showA guest in a green cap reaching toward the camera at a loft showA guest in a yellow top covering their mouth, laughingTwo guests laughing together in the blue stage light

Photography from the loft shows carries every page, and the type sits on top in a condensed italic that matches the digital clock wordmark. Pages alternate between white and a dark photo wash so the deck breathes as it moves. One idea per page, a small section label bottom left, a large grey page number bottom right. Nothing competes with the picture.

We delivered the deck: a cover for TheLoftSessions, a culture and community positioning page, a what we do page laying out the format, a demographics page built from labelled image cards over an age range, a page of previously featured talent, a future lineup page, a page of upcoming dates and a services page covering performance videos, social and website clips and live streaming.

The deck went out as the brand's pitch and marketing document

A singer at the microphone in front of the 24:Ours wordmark

24:Ours used the deck across pitching and marketing, introducing the company, showing the concert format, naming the artists it had already put on stage and listing the dates coming next. Every page carries the wordmark and its own number, so a section can be pulled out and sent on its own without losing where it came from.

06. Philosophy

Simple enough to travel on its own

The deck printed as a booklet, open on Demographics and A Hub of Innovation

We gave the deck one idea per page and let the photography carry it. A clear structure first means any page can be sent on its own and still say who the brand is.
