Not policies. Not process theater. This is the operating structure that lets the work hold its shape.
The system behind the studio.
This is how Therum operates in practice. From how projects are scoped to how work is delivered, our structure exists to reduce friction, protect focus, and support real collaboration.
Pricing Structure
Pricing is based on scope, not assumptions.
We define what the work includes, how it functions, and what level of depth is required before pricing is finalized. Services are structured into tiers or bundled phases so you can choose an approach that aligns with your needs and investment.
Payment Terms
All projects require a 50 percent deposit to begin.
The remaining balance is due upon completion and before final delivery. No assets, files, or transfers are released until payment is received in full.
Promotional Credit
and Incentives
In select cases, we offer discounted rates in exchange for agreed promotional credit.
Any promotional arrangement is outlined contractually and defines what is shared, where it appears, and how Therum is credited. Nothing is assumed or informal.
Late Payments
Payment timelines are not flexible.
Delays in final payment result in paused delivery and applied late fees. Continued non payment may lead to project termination and collection actions as outlined in the contract.
Contracts & Agreements
Every project operates under a written agreement.
Scope, payment terms, ownership, and responsibilities are defined upfront to eliminate confusion and protect both sides. We do not operate on verbal agreements.
Timeline and Turnaround
Timelines are determined by scope, clarity, feedback, and access.
We move efficiently, but speed is a result of structure, not pressure. Each project timeline is built intentionally and adjusted only when inputs change.
Communication
Communication is structured and intentional.
Email is the primary channel. Calls or live collaboration are scoped and scheduled when necessary. Communication outside working hours is not acceptable and repeated abuse may result in project cancellation with payment retained.
Scope and Revisions
Each project includes a defined scope and revision structure.
Feedback must be consolidated and intentional. Changes outside the agreed direction are treated as scope changes and quoted separately.
Cancellations and Termination
Deposits are non refundable.
If a project is canceled by the client for any reason, including shifts in direction or third party involvement, Therum retains all payments made and reserves the right to invoice for completed work.
Access and Technical Requirements
Required access must be provided before work begins.
This includes domains, hosting, CMS platforms, and third party tools. If access cannot be resolved, work cannot proceed. Rebuilds or migrations are scoped separately.
Ownership and Delivery
Final delivery occurs after full payment.
Ownership, usage rights, and file types are defined per project. No assumptions are made about source files or editable assets unless explicitly stated in the agreement.
Project Readiness & Client Responsibility
Clients are responsible for providing required materials, approvals, and access in a timely manner. Delays in feedback, missing assets, or incomplete information may impact timelines and are not grounds for scope or fee reductions.
